If you search the Bible for the term “age differences in relationships,” you’ll come up empty-handed.
In Scripture, a person’s age is rarely mentioned, and this holds true for married couples as well—we simply don’t have records of their age differences.
The one notable exception is Abraham and Sarah, whose age gap is clearly noted. When God promised Abraham that he and Sarah would become the founders of many nations, Abraham fell facedown and laughed, exclaiming, “Will a son be born to a man a hundred years old?
Will Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety?”
